City View Magazine | North Carolina Equine Photographer | Fayetteville, NC

When I got the email back in February to possibly shoot the horse issue of City View Magazine, I was pretty excited! They were covering a piece on Leilani Mae Horse Rescue, a North Carolina non-profit horse rescue that is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing horses. As a former board member and current volunteer, I was over the moon!

Since it was around the time of the Dogwood Festival, we wanted to capture some Dogwood Blossoms and horses.

We chose to feature Black Beauty, a cute Morgan cross gelding who came from a terrible situation.

We took some with former editor Miriam for her headshots!

It was cold, dark and dreary outside in Linden NC, but we made it work!

Want to help? CLICK HERE. The rescue is ran on donations and volunteers, there is no paid staff at LMHR. Every penny of donations go back to the horses.
