I first met Jen at Leilani Mae Horse Rescue last year. She had just adopted a cute gelding named Rudy.
Jen wanted a session with her two daughters, Kaleigh and Aleigha. They made for some stunning models!
Poor Rudy was starved and neglected until he was picked up by LMHR.
They worked with him, put some weight on him and he quickly became a favorite.
Jen has been spoiling sweet Rudy and allowing him to flourish in his new home.
You can tell he is so loved!
Rudy debuted into the show ring not too long after this shoot. “Rags to Riches” did so well for his first show!
Rudy is so handsome and sweet!
Rudy is a young Morgan cross who is still getting some finishing touches done on his training.
He went through three auctions that are heavily attended by kill buyers. If only we knew his version of the story!
Rudy has a goofball personality and is so easy going!
His confidence has risen dramatically since going to the Bloome home!
He now lives at RiverBend Stables and is loving life! RiverBend is located in Bunnlevel North Carolina.
I could photograph these girls and Rudy all day! They are absolutely stunning!
It was a perfect way to wrap up an amazing horse photography session with some black background portraits!
Make sure you give lots of love to this rescue horse! He is a survivor!
