I was so excited when Krissy contacted me about an Equine Mini Session at CDP Stables. She wanted a photographer who was confident photographing horses and trusted me with the job! I packed up my photography equipment and headed to the Southern Pines area to photograph an awesome equine session!

As soon as I met Krissy and Graham, I knew it would be a great session. Their outfits perfectly complimented the orange trees of fall. Aren’t they adorable?!

Rocky and Hank (the two cute boxers) were so well behaved. Whenever they weren’t needed for photos they were zig zagging all over the barn. They were SO much fun!

Krissy told me all about how much they love eventing. Krissy and Ivo won the 2016 War Horse Event Series in the Novice Championships! Talk about an accomplishment!

Krissy is absolutely in love with her horse Ivo, and he seemed quite obsessed with her too! His eyes were constantly on her. She beamed when talking about all of their events and travels together. They are the perfect team!

Krissy also had a super supportive husband, Graham. We laughed about the similar struggles he and my husband share, being horse lady husbands! I was impressed how confident he was around Ivo!

Krissy and Graham absolutely adore their two pups Rocky and Hank. I don’t blame them, they were stealing our hearts! Krissy talked about how Rocky and Hank have been there for her through thick and thin and how much they love coming to the barn.

Graham and Krissy were SO cute together! I could tell that they are best friends and have a great marriage! They were full of laughter!

Krissy was so great about answering all my questions about eventing. She was sweet enough to invite me to her next one so I could watch and learn. I am pretty excited for it!

Krissy told me about how one of her dogs has a heart problem, and they are not sure how much longer he has. It was very important to her to get some great pictures of her and her boy, so we ended the session with some gorgeous light and her pup.

I seriously had a blast with Krissy and Graham! She is someone I instantly clicked with which automatically makes her awesome! 😉 They are kind, funny, and really love their animals. I can’t wait for the next time I get to photograph them and their little fur family!
